I built this layout to use when I want a basic clean page. It only includes the main menu and the vertical menu on the left, but removes the lower section of panes for a more condensed feel.

A flexible pane layout in this section will cover nearly all your needs.

All layouts also include a breadcrumb just below main horizontal menu at the top of the page. This will allow users to understand where they are in the site as well as navigate back to previously viewed pages.
